New talent at The Pull Agency

We're delighted to announce two additions to our management team in Brand Strategy and Finance.

Welcome to Kathrin & Karen!

Pull are absolutely delighted to welcome two key new hires for the agency. Strong financial growth, new clients and strong demand for all our services were behind the need for senior heads with stellar track records. ‘Ain’t no stopping us now’! Here’s who have just joined Pull and their thoughts on why they did.

Kathrin Rodriguez-Bruessau

Kathrin Rodriguez-Bruessau has joined the Pull Agency as Head of Brand Strategy from Colgate-Palmolive. Working alongside CEO Chris Bullick (ex-Procter & Gamble), Pull now offers clients over 30 years of client-side brand management experience within health and beauty and FMCG. This strengthens our ability to give clients an external perspective, but from a background of experience. To: “Think like the client but act like an agency”.

Kathrin was responsible for leading Colgate’s Oral Care hub marketing team for northern Europe, and brings a wealth of experience in brand and media planning, NPD, product launches and managing agencies. Kathrin will work with Pull’s Brand Healthcheck™ and Brand Blueprint™ approaches to evaluate and advance client’s brands.

Why Kathrin joined Pull

“I was looking for a new challenge where I could apply my many years of brand management experience in FMCG and focus on where my core passion lies: building strong brands. What stood out to me with the Pull Agency was a few aspects that are different to other agencies: their ethos of being an extended team member of their clients is the first. I felt that having worked client side for many years, I could add a valuable client-side point of view within the agency.

No doubt, it’s a bit of a leap from client to agency side. But with many of Pull’s clients coming from Health and Beauty, my long-standing experience of working on brands like Colgate, Palmolive, Sanex and Glade amongst others, will give me a strong foundation to help clients take their brand potential to the next level.

Finally, I could sense a lot of positive energy and ambition from the people I met during the interview process – a truly infectious buzz of creativity and desire to transform and make things happen. I am excited to have the opportunity to work on some great brand strategy projects and exploring future trends in the fast-evolving Beauty category. What’s not to love?

Karen Lower

Karen Lower has joined the Pull Agency as Finance & Operations manager from her previous role as Head of Agency Growth at specialist agency financial consultants The Agency Works. Karen joins the Pull management team at a critical moment as the agency records its strongest growth and financial performance in its 13 year history.

Why Karen joined Pull.

Having worked with Pull for near enough 10 years on a consultancy basis I have seen how much they have changed and grown.  With an explosive year in progress and the need to create a rigorous plan to look to the future and streamline their operational approach, when the opportunity arose to make this a role within Pull I jumped with both feet.  Pull really is a fabulous place to work and the last month of working solely with them has cemented that in my mind.
